Public Administration provides 50 phones for recycling campaign that takes place in the cybercaf??. ,THE_CRA_Land_Berlanga_Sorian

The Ministry of Public Administration and Local Policy has provided 50 mobile withdrawn from use to the hood recycling of mobile phones that the government of La Rioja in collaboration with Red Cross is doing in the cybercaf??.

The campaign to recycle mobile phones is still open and is developed in a total of 59 cybercaf?? in the region. The revenue generated by this campaign are directed to social action projects conducted by Red Cross 'Entreculturas' and 'Alboan'. Since its implementation have been compiled over 100 terminals.

The objective of this initiative, already involved more than 1,Osakidetza_eight_million_awarded_bya,900 companies and institutions throughout Spain, is to earmark the revenues generated by the reuse of phones donated to humanitarian projects and at the same time, implementing the proper recycling of those terminals who have fallen out of use.

Red Cross funds intended for their projects and environmental activities such as awareness campaigns and environmental education, training older people who act as advocates for environmental and environmental management projects for the Red Cross offices.

'Entreculturas' carries out different cooperation projects currently assigned to the education of children in Latin America and Africa, to mitigate the effects that HIV causes a large part of the African population.

For his part, 'Alboan' allocate the funds raised to support education projects in two of its partner organizations in the South.

In Africa, support the work of the Jesuit Service for Refugees (JRS) in the Great Lakes region (Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi), and in Central America to support the work of the Guatemalan Institute of Distance Education by Radio (IGER). In the past year, funds were allocated to JRS Great Lakes.
