The First Gastronomic Competition Extremadura Products Cooperative celebrates its final Thursday.
Agro-food cooperatives Extremadura held this Thursday, October 14, the end of the First Gastronomic Competition Products Cooperative Extremadura, who contested six cooks on the premises of Extremadura Agrifood Technology Center (Ctaex) in Villafranca del Guadiana (Badajoz).
These six chefs to develop recipes that were selected as finalists by the jury, beginning at 10.00 hours. Regarding the awards, will be three prizes in cash, with a total amount of 10,500 euros. So, the winner of the contest I Gastronomico Extremadura Products Cooperative will receive a first prize of 6,000 euros. The two runners up will receive a $ 3,000 second prize and third prize of 1,500 euros.
The jury will be announced after the contest, while the awards will take place during the Second Congress of the Cooperative Agro-Food in Extremadura, which will be held on 27 and 28 October 2010 in the town of Olivenza (Badajoz).
